Calm Farm was founded in 2007 and is a Community Interest Company, (not for profit). We are based in Sidley and provide a wide range of services across in Sidley, Bexhill, Hastings, St Leonards, Eastbourne and occassional other locations across East Sussex.

Our aims are to promote social inclusion, develop skills for learning, life and employment, to improving well-being through a broad range of sensory, therapeutic, healthy and educational services for children, young people, parents and carers, including services for additional learning needs and PMLD.

We can help you get back to a healthier you, and support you to make simple changes towards a longer and happier life. We will provide tools, motivational support and encouragement every step of the way, to help improve your health right away.

East Sussex Young Carers

East Sussex Young Carers supports Young Carers aged 5-18 who are responsible for caring for a family member with a long-term illness, disability, prioritising mental health or drug/alcohol issues.  

ESYC provides tailored face to face support to Young Carers, opportunities to socialise with other Young Carers, information, advice and signposting.  ESYC also offer training and information to professionals which will enable them to identify hidden Young Carers.



Gingerbread friendship groups are a chance for single parent families to get together, meet new people and share experiences.


Sussex Prisoner Families

Sussex Prisoners’ Families is a community interest company which supports local families to cope emotionally and practically with the imprisonment of a loved-one. We offer support and advice to families, as well as training and awareness-raising for professionals so that they can better meet families’ needs.

Working with those in Sussex with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus to create and develop their best opportunities


Victim Support

We give emotional and practical help to people who have been affected by crime in Sussex. We’re an independent charity and you can contact us for support regardless of whether you’ve contacted the police, and no matter how long ago the crime took place. We’ll help you for as long as it takes to overcome the impact of crime.
